Jeff Hardy was once again arrested for driving under the influence early on Monday. Hardy blew over three times the legal limit on his breathalyzer test. Many fans have wondered if Jeff’s latest mistake would mark the end of his wrestling career.

AEW owner Tony Khan has finally responded to the news. Today, he announced via Twitter that Jeff Hardy has been suspended from All Elite Wrestling without pay. Khan has been in contact with Hardy and informed him that the company will assist him in getting treatment for his substance abuse issues.

“We were able to resume contact with Jeff Hardy this afternoon. AEW does not condone Jeff’s alleged behavior. We’ve made it clear to jeff that we’ll assist him in getting treatment for substance abuse issues, which he has indicated that he’s open to receiving. In the interim, he is suspended without pay, and he can only return to AEW upon successfully completing treatment and maintaining his sobriety.”

This was Jeff Hardy’s third DUI arrest in the past ten years. Hardy could face jail time if he is found guilty. His brother, Matt Hardy, expressed disappointment and support after learning the news.

Jeff Hardy was scheduled to compete with his brother on Wednesday night for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Now, he will have to undergo treatment and prove he can stay sober if he hopes to wrestle for the company again. Hopefully, Jeff takes Tony Khan up on his offer to help with his treatment.
