WWE has a roster full of talent, but that doesn’t mean they all get equal airtime. For one reason or another, WWE has a tendency to book the same matches over and over again. Fans are not the only ones who realize this fact.

Xavier Woods posted on Instagram to provide a word from his “King’s log.” In the process, he also threw a bit of subtle shade at WWE’s proclivity to book the same matches over and over again. He should know better than anyone, because Woods and Kofi Kingston have battled with Sheamus, Ridge Holland, and Butch for a quarter of 2022 already.

King’s log: Yesterday counted the 14th week that we have fought Sheamus, Ridge, and Butch. That’s more than a quarter of this year. Once we are rid of them I can focus on Ricochet and the IC title. But for now we walk for miles inside this pit of danger….

We’ll have to see what’s next for this feud. Big E’s injury likely threw a wrench in the company’s plan to book a few six-man tag team matches. In the meantime, it appears that this feud will continue until Vince McMahon decides it has served its purpose.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
