Rollins entered the arena wearing a polka dot gear, part of his strategy to get into Cody’s head. For those not the in know, polka dots were popularized by Cody’s father, the late great Dusty Rhodes during his run in WWE.

WWE previously said Cody suffered the injury due to an attack by Rollins during an episode of Monday Night RAW. The two have been at each other’s throats ever since the American Nightmare returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38.

Cody Rhodes wrestled his match against Rollins at Hell in a Cell tonight, but he will need to recover from his injury. Cody showed real toughness by wrestling with a torn pec. We hope he recovers soon. If anything Seth Rollins didn’t make it any easier by playing these mind games with the polka dots.
