AEW has a locker room that gets more crowded all the time. Now one big man is back around who was absent for a bit.

According to a report from Fightful Select, Brian Cage has been around AEW recently. He was backstage at Dynamite this last week. The Machine hasn’t been around AEW shows for a while, and his last appearance for any Tony Khan owned product was at ROH Supercard of Honor.

Former FTW Champion Brian Cage was backstage at AEW Dynamite this past Wednesday. Cage had not been at recent AEW shows, and last appeared at ROH Supercard of Honor where he joined Tully Blanchard Enterprises with Kaun and Toa Liona. Thus far there are no publicly announced Ring of Honor cards, and Cage hasn’t been on AEW programming since.

Tony Khan opted to pick up Brian Cage’s contract for another year and that surprised a lot of people considering how often they used him. Things could always change as Double or Nothing has a tendency to open up new stories for fresh talent.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
