Ric Flair is wrestling his farewell match at Starrcast V in Nashville on July 31st. Flair has yet to reveal the name of his opponent and, now, he’s clarifying that it’s not Hulk Hogan.

“The Nature Boy” addressed the rumors that Hulk Hogan was coming out of retirement to square off against Flair for his comeback match during the latest episode of Flair’s To Be The Man podcast.

“Not that I know. I think you would have run that by me…He’s invited. I’ve talked to him personally to come to the roast and come watch the match. But yeah, he hasn’t confirmed for sure but I’m pretty sure he’ll be there.”

Flair is also working on his timing in the ring and has guaranteed he’ll pull off most of his famous moves during his farewell match. The 16-time world champion hasn’t wrestled a match in more than a decade.

Flair previously revealed he sought medical clearance from 40 doctors for his comeback match. With Flair being 73, it’s it’s understandable to worry about the wellbeing of “The Nature Boy”. We’ll have to wait and see how his final match turns out to be.
