Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out on RAW immediately after the show went on air this week. Their walkout was met with a lot of mixed responses from fans and peers alike. Even now, WWE talent can’t understand why the two walked out.

As Ringside News exclusively reported, there is also strong belief backstage that Sasha Banks actually manipulated Naomi into leaving with her. That’s not all as Sasha Banks has “alienated” everyone backstage in WWE at this point in time.

According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE talent cannot understand Sasha Banks and Naomi’s decision to walk out, especially because they were set for notable matches at the upcoming Hell in a Cell premium live event.

”Talent that we’ve been in contact with could not understand their position, noting that they were booked for major singles title matches on PPV. While they would lose, singles matches on a PPV with Belair and Rousey would be the best opportunity to showcase themselves even if losing.

A tag title match with Nikki & Doudrop would mean nothing at this point. Tag champs losing to singles champs in a singles match is neither bad booking, historically unusual booking, nor does it hurt the titles. If anything, after being in the bigger singles matches, it would elevate the stature of the tag champions because of how WWE has brainwashed the audience into thinking singles stars are a bigger deal than tag team champions.

WWE absolutely has buried tag champions over the years and not pushed them seriously, such as tag champs being in handicap matches with a singles star and losing, or being afterthoughts or in pre-show matches or not even being on major events. But this was not a case of that.”

Mickie James applauded them for their walkout, but there aren’t lot of people in their corner. Sasha Banks’ walkout even nixed an angle with Ronda Rousey. Their walkout was also called publicity stunt, among other things. We will keep you updated on this ongoing story right here at Ringside News!
