Kurt Angle Compares Shawn Michaels & AJ Styles In Huge Way

Shawn Michaels is certainly one of the best in-ring performers to have ever graced a WWE ring. He was touted as Mr. WrestleMania and he truly lived up to the moniker. 

WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle has squared off against the best of the best the pro wrestling world had to offer. This includes theol likes of Shawn Michaels and AJ Styles.

While speaking on a recent episode of The Kurt Angle Show podcast, Kurt Angle talked about his favorite opponents. He named AJ Styles and Shawn Michaels and then compared them in a huge way.

Shawn and AJ, they have so many identical ways about them, especially their in-ring performances, their athleticism, the way they were showmen. Very identical styles. Of the guys I worked with, I would say AJ, Shawn Michaels, and Chris Benoit were my three favorites to work with. And Eddie Guerrero is in there too.

AJ Styles is currently engaged in a feud with Edge and they will clash at WrestleMania Backlash. We’ll have to see who will win the match.
