AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling’s upcoming Forbidden Door pay-per-view is officially sellout. More than 14,000 tickets were gone in under an hour as fans flocked to be a part of the historic event. As expected, many of those tickets have already hit the secondary market.

Scalpers are asking for big money already for the coveted tickets. A seat in section 332, which is behind the stage area and on the upper balcony are priced at around $100. Seats one tier below in the 200 level start at around $200 and some sellers are asking as much as $500 or more.

Premium seats on the floor are even more astronomical. Fourth-row floor tickets are going for more than $1,000. Even upper deck seats the farthest from the ring are priced at $100 or more. Fans who were hoping to grab their seats at face value are going to have a very difficult time.

There has not been a single match announced for Forbidden Door. Fans are eager to see their favorite AEW stars clash with the biggest names from New Japan. The instant sellout and crazy secondary market spells that out clearly.

The United Center will be rocking on June 26. The venue previously hosted the episode of Rampage where CM Punk made his AEW debut. Chicago has been one of the company’s strongest markets.

Fans who have already booked their trip to Chicago before securing tickets will now face a tough time finding affordable ones. This show was sure to be in demand. The quick sellout means secondary market prices will be as inflated as ever.
