Last year, AEW built up the feud between Eddie Kingston and CM Punk. The feud further intensified after the scathing back and forth between CM Punk and Eddie Kingston on an episode of Rampage. It culminated in a bloody war between the two at AEW Full Gear, which saw CM Punk pick up the win in the end.
The two clearly do not like each other and that is not changing at all. As seen on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, it was announced that CM Punk will be facing off against Adam Page for the AEW World Championship at AEW Double Or Nothing next month.
CM Punk stated in his promo that he respects and is a fan of all his opponents in All Elite Wrestling, except for Eddie Kingston. Kingston took to Twitter and reacted to Punk’s promo, as he blasted CM Punk and made it clear he couldn’t care less.
Who gives a f*** Punk!
Eddie Kingston is currently engaged in a feud with The Jericho Appreciation Society. We’ll have to wait and see how their feud develops in the coming weeks.
