Rhaka Khan is facing serious charges in El Paso, Texas. A series of delays has kept the former TNA star waiting to find out her fate. Khan is a former WWE developmental wrestler who has been charged with interfering with child custody as well as ‘aggravated kidnapping facilitate.’

Khan’s indictment came all the way back in 2019. She was listed as most wanted fugitive in the El Paso area. After being released on bail, Rhaka Khan repeatedly did not show up for scheduled court dates. Warrants were issued for her arrest.

Mike Johnson of PW Insider has now reported that Khan finally has new court date. After several no-shows and delays due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, Rhaka Khan will finally have her day in court on July 22.

Rhaka Khan initially tried to win over the court of public opinion leading to her trial. Videos were posted to YouTube that called the indictment “fake.” The clips were later made private.

Khan is facing two years in prison for the child custody interference charge. Texas law states that an infraction of this law occurs when a person “takes or retains a child when that person knows that the taking or detention of the child violates a judgment or order.” The long-delayed case now appears to be back on track.

Rhaka Khan has not appeared for a national wrestling promotion since the early 2000s. She later competed in Lucha Libre USA. There has been a ton of misinformation in this case already, as Khan’s ex has been caught on tape admitting to false police reports and false reports to Child Protective Services. Now, it will be up to a jury to decide.
