One of the best aspects of AEW is certainly the almost-limitless depth when it comes to their tag team division. It is no exaggeration to say AEW has one of the best tag team divisions in the world right now. Max Caster also bragged about his team’s popularity and, fitting with his brazen personality, he was not shy about it.
The Acclaimed, comprised of Anthony Bowens and Max Caster, has slowly become one of the most popular tag teams in AEW. This is thanks to their in-ring skills and rapping gimmick.
While speaking to Phil Strum on Under The Ring, Anthony Bowens talked about working under AEW President Tony Khan. Bowens stated that Tony Khan makes wrestlers want to give their all to him.
“Tony Khan, as much as the Acclaimed hate him on screen, he’s a fantastic boss. He actually cares about his performers and he always has enthusiastic energy. You want to give your all for him because he’s so positive and passionate about the pro wrestling industry. I’m thankful I made the right choice to come to AEW. I’m not just saying that because he’s my boss, that’s truly how I feel.”
Anthony Bowens is currently out of action due to injury but is still part of AEW television alongside Max Caster. We’ll have to see when he will make his in-ring return.
