Vince McMahon has been accused by many of being out of touch. The WWE boss is in his mid-70s, and many believe McMahon has lost his edge over the years. WWE’s loyal fanbase will always be there to enjoy the shows, but some are questioning whether the company can produce relatable content.

Vince Russo was the head writer for WWE during its most popular run, the attitude era. Russo is never shy about voicing his opinions on wrestling, even though they aren’t always the most well-received. Russo tweeted his thoughts this morning about last night’s episode of Raw, and they weren’t kind.

Russo thinks the entire world has passed WWE by. The former Vic Venom challenged Vince McMahon to look himself in the mirror and do some reflecting on the content of the show. Vince Russo also said Raw is a terrible show and the worst thing on prime time television.

“@WWE RAW is just a terrible, terrible show. It is far and away the absolute worst thing on Prime Time. The ENTIRE WORLD has passed this company bye. There is nothing that anybody can relate to. @VinceMcMahon, time to look yourself in the mirror. Are you better than this-or, not?”

Many wrestling fans who wouldn’t normally agree with Vince Russo have echoed similar opinions. On the other side of the same coin, Russo has been criticized as one of the worst pro wrestling bookers of all time. Vince is frequently blamed for killing WCW and TNA.

Regardless of his controversial past, Vince Russo is entitled to his opinion. Russo doesn’t think WWE has what it takes to write relevant content for today’s audience. It may be a strong opinion, but Vince McMahon is probably not listening.
