WWE’s Original Plan For Sasha Banks On SmackDown

Sasha Banks is certainly one of the best female pro wrestlers in WWE right now. Her accolades speak for themselves as she has been part of many solid matches and memorable moments. WWE also changed up plans for Sasha Banks on Friday Night Smackdown.

Naomi faced Rhea Ripley in a singles match on Friday Night Smackdown last week. In the end, Ripley defeated one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

According to Fightful Select, Sasha Banks was set to face off against Rhea Ripley, but she was replaced by Naomi. No proper reason was given for Banks being pulled from the match.

Sasha Banks was scheduled to face Rhea Ripley on internal rundowns, before being changed to Naomi.

Sasha Banks and Naomi are set to defend their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships against LIV FOR BRUTALITY on Monday Night RAW this week. We’ll have to see if Banks and Naomi will be able to retain their titles or not.
