WWE continues to add new talent and characters to the growing roster of NXT 2.0. Trademarks have been filed with the US Patent & Trademark Office for four new ring names. Two of the names are already in use. The other is a mystery. The fourth is baffling.

Roxanne Perez has already debuted on NXT Level Up. Perez was previously known in Ring of Honor and on the independents as Rok-C. The other already-debuted ring name is Cruz Del Torio, formerly Raul Mendoza.

In addition to those names, WWE locked down the name Alba Fyre. Fans have had some fun with some of the more ridiculous ring names being given to new NXT superstars. “Katana Chance” will be the latest among those. It is not known who will use these names at this point.

Other than the entertainment value of a WWE personality being called Katana Chance, the filings were standard. Each one was identical. They all read as follows:

“Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment”

We will have to wait and see who gets the honor of portraying Katana Chance in WWE. There were huge tryouts held over WrestleMania weekend with several new incoming talents. We could be seeing Chance and Alba Fyre on WWE TV in the coming weeks.
