Cody Rhodes & Brandi Rhodes were seemingly integral part of AEW. While the former Vice President and Chief Brand Officer are no longer with the promotion, Cody Rhodes is making strides back at WWE. However, their presence is definitely being felt, and Nyla Rose has decided to open up about it.

The Rhodes announced on February 15th, 2022 that they’ll be leaving AEW. Their positions in AEW were important, as Cody Rhodes was one of the four Executive Vice Presidents for the company and nurtured AEW from the beginning.

Cody Rhodes came back to WWE and took everyone by surprise. Rhodes faced off against Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 38 and will face him again at WrestleMania Backlash, which is on May 8th.

AEW superstar Nyla Rose appeared on the Battleground Podcast, and talked about how the Rhodes are being missed at AEW. She also talked about the possibility of them coming back to AEW, as they were the promotion since day one.

If pro wrestling, I’m not even gonna say AEW, if pro wrestling is any indication, I can’t speculate. Anything’s possible, we’ve seen things this past year that have just come out of complete left field. Selfishly, I would love to see that. You know, I miss my friends. I miss seeing people that I like backstage. Cody and Brandi have been absolutely wonderful to me, I would love to see them more. But if they’re happy, I’m happy. Like I always say, if you like it, I love it.

Nyla also talked about Vickie Guerrero’s place in AEW, and said that she is the MVP of the AEW Women’s locker room. Nyla Rose is going to face off against Thunder Rosa for the AEW World’s Championship at the Battle of the Belts II. Nyla Rose would emerge as a first-ever two-time AEW Women’s World Champion if she wins this bout.
