Woods and Kofi Kingston took on Sheamus and Holland in a tag team match on the second and final night of WrestleMania 38. The match ended when Sheamus brogue kicked Woods, allowing Holland to pin the New Day member.

Tonight’s SmackDown saw Woods take on Butch in singles action. Butch dominated for the most part of the match, but Woods pinned him with a small package. Commentator Pat McAfee refereed to the pin as Backwoods.

The King of the Ring 2021 winner took to Twitter after the match to talk about the new move. Woods said he’ll be using the maneuver as his new finisher going forward.

Yes. I officially have officially added a new finishing maneuver to my repertoire. The small package is no more. The era of the BACKWOODS has begun. Everybody bout to get rolled up…. @wwe
