Randy Orton has done pretty much everything a pro wrestler would want to do in WWE over the course of his 2-decade-long career. Orton is also a proper veteran now and is more than willing to help the younger generation out in any way he can.

Triple H recently announced his retirement from professional wrestling, after he suffered a cardiac event that almost cost him his life. Even now, many continue to show a ton of respect to Triple H for all he did for the pro wrestling industry.

Triple H brought Randy Orton under his wing as part of Evolution and eventually helped him become a big star as well. While speaking on the Out of Character podcast with Ryan Satin, Orton revealed the emotional meeting he had with Triple H after his retirement announcement.

“I got to see Triple H last night and I hugged that grown man as hard as I could, and I got emotional just because of this announcement last week,” Orton said. “We had just a few words between one another, but you don’t have forever. This is a really special close-knit group of guys and girls and this is where it’s at. To us, this is everything and you never know when it’s going to be taken away from you.

All of that really makes me appreciate the now more, and Riddle being one of those as well. I obviously didn’t like him too much in the beginning, that was very real, but I love the guy now and he’s great and he’s definitely motivated me to give it a little more effort. He’s making it more fun for me too.”

Randy Orton also recently stated that Triple H is motivation for what he wants to do in pro wrestling. Triple H is busy building up NXT and that is what matters for him in the end.
