WWE Accused Of Forcing Fans To Hate Edge & Becky Lynch

WWE Hall Of Famer Edge is one of the most established stars in the history of the company. He has done everything a pro wrestler would want to accomplish in their career. WWE has also been accused of forcing fans to hate Edge and Becky Lynch.

Both Edge and Becky Lynch have been heels for a long time now. Edge turned heel during his feud with AJ Styles, while Lynch became a heel after returning at SummerSlam last year.

While speaking on the Busted Open podcast, WWE Hall Of Famer Bully Ray talked about Edge and Becky Lynch being heels. Ray accused WWE of forcing fans to hate Edge and Lynch when they are clearly beloved.

“The WWE will force a lot of stuff on us. They are forcing me to hate Edge. I just do not hate Edge. And it’s not because Mark (Bully Ray’s real name) and Adam (Edge’s real name) are friends. It is simply because Mark doesn’t want to hate the character of Edge. There is nothing hateable about… his real-life story is too, too real to ever hate him. Becky Lynch. I don’t want to hate Becky. I like Becky. There nothing about Becky that I hate. Stop forcing me to hate people. There’s plenty of people around that we can get real heat, steam, hatred on. Don’t give me uber babyfaces. I’m talking as a fan here.”

Edge is continuing his feud with AJ Styles on Monday Night RAW while it remains to be seen whether Lynch will square off against Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship.
