Vince McMahon shocked the world when he had, what might have been, the worst match in WrestleMania history. Fans weren’t the only ones who thought this was a terrible idea.

According to a report from Fightful Select, Vince McMahon made the decision to wrestle on the show of shows a month prior to the event. That being said, many around him thought it was a terrible idea that he get back in the ring.

McMahon was said to have made the decision to wrestle on the show months ago, and numerous people close to him and on the creative team vocally expressed that they thought it was a terrible idea.

It was also reported that “there were plenty of laughs had by the team and Vince McMahon himself in the days that followed the event.” Sp. it appears that everything is water under the bridge and they’re not dwelling on the terrible match.

Vince McMahon reportedly, “chalked it up to ‘as long as people were laughing and entertained, it’s okay.'” He’s getting a laugh about his terrible stunner sell-job as well.

We’ll have to see if Vince McMahon decides to wrestle again. Then again, he can do whatever he likes, because it’s his company.
