Drew McIntyre has reinvented himself after a break from the WWE main roster, and he is one of the company’s highlights. During the early stages of the pandemic, he was one of WWE’s top performers. He’s also after the victor of a major WrestleMania 38 match.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the significance of Drew McIntyre’s booking at WrestleMania. He explained that they will follow that storyline so that Drew can face bigger opponents in the future. Apparently, no one else is currently ready for him.

It’s role is to give Drew McIntyre win at WrestleMania so he can then go against bigger guys, you know, bigger stars. So it’s just they have nobody… They don’t have anyone else ready for him. So that’s what turned out.

Drew McIntyre and Happy Corbin will face off at WrestleMania 38, as previously announced. Fans were outraged, believing that McIntyre deserved to be treated better than Corbin.

The Scottish Warrior has been pitted against the company’s best and brightest. This features matches against Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, in which he defeated Lesnar but fell short against Reigns. It remains to be seen what WWE has planned for Drew McIntyre after his match against Happy Corbin at WrestleMania 38.
