Xavier Woods has had a tremendous run as 1/3 of The New Day. Woods has also seen great success with his Up Up Down Down gaming channel on YouTube. Woods won the King of The Ring in 2021. WWE changed his name to King Woods following his KOTR victory.

Woods got his name changed yet again as he is no longer being referred to as King Woods on WWE’s roster page. It is unclear why WWE decided to drop the King Woods name as Woods is still the KOTR winner.

Woods took to Twitter to share his thoughts on WWE changing his name. From what he’s tweeted, Woods doesn’t seem bothered at all by the company changing his name on their active roster page.

Call me King Woods, Call me Xavier Woods, Call me Austin Creed. May as well call me King Midas since everything I touch turns to gold 😉 and I look great in that picture, almost as good as in real life

Woods returned to live in-ring competition last Friday on SmackDown. A WrestleMania 38 match featuring The New Day vs Sheamus and his lackeys was in the works initially. However, there is a chance that the match might even get scrapped now.
