Vice’s Dark Side of the Ring aired the second part of their third season which included an episode that focused on The Plane Ride From Hell. Tommy Dreamer essentially excused what Ric Flair did on that plane and that resulted in him getting suspended by Impact Wrestling. Ric Flair also lost a good bit of work and he was temporarily cancelled on top of that.

Ric Flair was removed from WWE’s opening video package as his ‘woo’ was edited out. On top of that, he was also replaced from the video package by The Ultimate Warrior.

Recently, Mark Madden revealed that he left Ric Flair’s podcast after he was fired by Flair. This led to a very messy argument between the two on social media. Madden took to Twitter and claimed that even Tony Khan stopped talking to Flair after the Dark Side Of The Ring episode.

Ric was planning to work at AEW ‘til the Dark Side ep. Not sure what Tony Khan thought. Khan doesn’t talk to Ric now. Disinvited Ric from his b’day party.

Ric Flair also previously stated that he would rather die in the ring than spend month in the ICU. With his AEW future very unlikely right now, it remains to be seen what Flair will do next.
