Ricky Starks’ raw talent as a pro wrestler is undeniable and has a bright future ahead of him in AEW. He is currently the FTW Champion and is one of the mainstays of AEW television. He is also very outspoken when it comes to the pro wrestling product.
He is also is constantly compared to The Rock, fact that surprises him. Especially when it comes to the way he dresses and his mannerisms and promo skills. The comparisons are certainly plausible according to many.
While speaking on the Busted Open Radio, Ricky Starks revealed that he always asks Sting and Chris Jericho for advice. Starks made it clear he is thankful that both of them never talk down to him.
“Sting is a genuinely great person to talk to about legitimately anything and he gives his own insight that he can from his past experience. Same thing with Chris Jericho, and we just talked, and he actually does not talk to me like – I’m so used to people talking down on me and talking to me as if there’s such a difference in levels of where we’re at, that sometimes I don’t always approach them when I should, so I have started to get out of that more.
Ricky Starks is currently engaged in a feud with Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee on AEW television. We’ll have to see how their feud will progress in the coming weeks.
