Drew McIntyre is one of the highlights of the WWE main roster, and he worked hard to get to that position. He also helped carry the company during the early stages of the pandemic era in WWE. He also made an interesting claim about his upcoming WrestleMania 38 match.

It was previously announced that Drew McIntyre will square off against Happy Corbin at WrestleMania 38. This was met with a lot of outrage from fans, who felt McIntyre deserved better than Corbin.

While speaking on WWE’s The Bump, The Scottish Warrior talked about his WrestleMania 38 match against Happy Corbin. McIntyre explained how the match is as big as his match against Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns.

”I guess if you look at my WrestleMania matches since I returned to WWE, it began with a big match with Roman, and then I defeated Brock for the WWE Championship the following and fought for the WWE Championship against Lashley last year, then this year it is Corbin. A lot of people might think one of these are not like the other but at the same time this one is as big as the others.

Against Roman it was for the Championship, it was for the authority but this is very much personal. I was gifted the match about 3 weeks ago. I thought I have got to fight for the match against Corbin. It was given to me and I do not want to take him out, I could have taken him out anytime over the past few weeks. But I want to wait for WrestleMania 38, the biggest stage of them all, and then embarrass Corbin.”

McIntyre also stated that he wants to emulate Bret Hart vs Vince McMahon at WrestleMania 38. We will have to wait and see what the company will have planned for Drew McIntyre after his match against Happy Corbin at WrestleMania  38.
