WWE finalized huge extension with A&E earlier this month. The company announced it will be filming new content for several wrestling-themed episodes that will be aired on the cable network. It seems that one of the specials is already on its way to A&E.

According to Fightful, crew members have already filmed interviews of several members of D-Generation X. The members in question are WWE Hall of Famers Billy Gunn and Sean “XPac” Waltman. It is unknown when A&E will air the D-Generation X special.

Wrestling Inc mentioned this week that one of the episodes is set to profile D-Generation X, and interviews were filmed to highlight members of the faction in early March. We’re told there was a ton of interview footage that was created to use for the members for both this and many other documentaries. Both Billy Gunn (as reported by WINC) and X-Pac have been interviewed.

It was previously reported that “Top Dolla” AJ Francis had signed an extension to appear on WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures, which recently got picked up for another season. The former Hit Row member talked to Fightful about his deal for the series.

In addition, AJ Francis elaborated on his deal for Most Wanted Treasures. He says he has a standard television contract that isn’t through WWE, and he’d like to return for the series. He noted to Fightful that he hadn’t went through WWE in order to secure the deal in the first place, but said that he’s enjoyed working on the series.
