Rey and Dominik Mysterio appeared on the most recent episode of WWE NXT. Dominik took on Santos Escobar in a match that saw Rey Mysterio get involved. The father and son duo got a great reception from the NXT 2.0 crowd in Orlando.
WWE posted a video today where Rey Mysterio said he will wrestle in NXT someday. Rey said he has some unfinished business in the developmental brand. It sounds like Rey Mysterio will be competing on NXT sometime shortly.
Santos Escobar believes he has the perfect opponent. Escobar quote tweeted WWE’s video with a response to Rey Mysterio. Santos and Rey could be on a collision course for a match on the colorful brand.

Rey Mysterio said he had a lot of fun during his NXT appearance. It is just a matter of time before he comes back. The seeds are already planted for a perfect feud with Santos Escobar.
WWE has been trying to incorporate more main roster stars into the NXT mix. Grayson Waller recently feuded with AJ Styles. The Miz and The Dirty Dawgs have also appeared on the show recently. Rey Mysterio could be the next veteran superstar to wrestle in NXT.
