Another AEW Star On Their Way Out Of Company

AEW has seen a few contracts come up in recent memory and it appears that another star is on their way out. Unlike Cody Rhodes, this exit isn’t that huge of a surprise.

Fightful Select reports that Marko Stunt hasn’t been backstage in AEW in months. He isn’t being brought up in a creative sense and Jurassic Express merchandise is coming out with out him on it.

That being said, his contract isn’t over just yet. He still has a couple of months on the roster, but he isn’t expected to remain with the company.

Despite the fact that he’s not been backstage or featured on television, we’re told that he’s still technically with the company. Marko’s contract runs until May, when AEW has numerous contracts coming due. Joey Janela recently mentioned to Denise Salcedo that AEW had “ghosted” Stunt, which we’ve also heard. Those that we spoke to stated that Stunt had expressed his willingness to prove himself and remain with the company, but haven’t heard a follow up on that.

We’ll have to see what’s next for Marko Stunt. He will likely have a lot of indie dates come up once his schedule is 100% clear. Then again, his AEW commitments have certainly diminished greatly in recent memory.
