WWE Hall Of Famer Lita is one of the pioneers of women’s wrestling. This is because she helped lay the foundation for what became the current landscape of women’s wrestling. Rhea Ripley is also excited about potentially facing Lita.
The pro wrestling legend made her return to WWE television back in January of this year. She competed in the Women’s Royal Rumble match and also against Becky Lynch at the WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event.
Lita had also made it clear she wants to return to the squared circle once again. Lita had previously made it clear she wants to face off against Rhea Ripley as well. While speaking on the Under The Ring podcast, Ripley stated that she is super excited about a potential match against Lita.
“It honestly makes me super excited and for the future as well because… these things could possibly happen. To step in the ring with Lita or The Bellas, it’s honestly like a dream come true and it’s wild to think that they’re gonna step in the ring with me….. [T]o hear from them that they want to step in the ring with me, it’s insane. It makes me super happy, and excited, and proud of myself at the same time.”
We’ll have to wait and see whether Rhea Ripley will be squaring off against Lita in a singles match somewhere down the line or not.
