Jeff Hardy made his much-anticipated debut for All Elite Wrestling last week on Dynamite. Jeff rushed to the ring, though he stopped for a brief second to perform his signature dance moves, to fend off the attack on brother Matt Hardy, Darby Allin and Sting. He already had some fans on the roster.

Fans and peers were quick to post their reactions to Jeff debut’s on social media. AEW star Sammy Guevara also took to Twitter to tell the world he wanted a match with the pro wrestling icon. It is worth mentioning that Sammy lost his TNT title to Scorpio Sky on the very same episode of Dynamite.

It seems that AEW are planning a feud between Sammy and Jeff. The company’s Twitter account posted a throwback photo of a young Sammy with Jeff. The caption, in part, talked about the fact that the two are now co-workers. Sammy reacted to the tweet with a tweet of his own.

Jeff Hardy vs Sammy Guevara #LFG

This isn’t the first time AEW have used a throwback photo to kickstart or further a storyline between wrestlers. CM Punk showed the very famous photo of a young MJF meeting him before saying he wanted the Salt of the Earth in a Dog Collar match at AEW Revolution.
