Raquel Gonzalez made her in-ring debut for Triple H’s NXT way back in 2017. She has since become one of the mainstays of the yellow brand’s women’s division. She is a former NXT Women’s and Tag Team Champion. Now it seems that she is taking some time off.

Gonzalez was set to compete alongside her tag team partner Cora Jade in the Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament. However, an attack by Toxic Attraction last week put her on the sidelines.

According to Cora Jade, Gonzalez will be out of action for a couple of weeks due to the injury she suffered during Toxic Attraction’s attack on her. It is unknown if Gonzalez suffered a legitimate injury during the segment.

Gonzalez is reportedly in line for main roster call soon. WWE is looking to introduce new talent on the main roster and Gonzalez seems to the perfect addition to the red or blue brand.
