Everyone has dreams when they start out in the pro wrestling business. Doc Gallows apparently saw huge things for himself very early on.

Doc Gallows joined WWE in 2005. He made his televised debut for the promotion as Imposter Kane. The gimmick didn’t last very long and Gallows was repackaged as Festus.

While opening up on Talk N Shop, Gallows revealed that he was also pitched as the third brother of destruction.

“They told me [I was going to be the third Brother of Destruction] in developmental. Think about that in your mind when you’re a 20-something-year-old kid. At first they told me I was going to come out at WrestleMania 23.”

His spot would be taken up by the Boogeyman instead. Gallows said he was excited to play the gimmick of the third brother of destruction and, in his mind, was already a millionaire come WrestleMania 24.

“It ended up being the Boogeyman, but I was going to be the third brother. I’m sitting there at practice like, ‘I’m the heir to the big man throne. Shit, I’ll be a millionaire this time next year.’ I have no idea where all that came from.”

His first stint with the company ended in 2010. Gallows would eventually return to the WWE following a successful stint in New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW). However, he would be released again alongside fellow Good Brother Karl Anderson in 2020.
