Cody Rhodes did a lot to help put All Elite Wrestling on the map and there’s no denying that. Cody, who is currently 36, also helped elevated much of the younger stars of the company. Unfortunately, his stint with the company came to an end last month. That being said, WWE fans are expecting his return.

Cody is heavily rumored to sign with the WWE. The former TNT Champion was even part of WrestleMania’s internal documents at one point and is supposedly set to face Seth Rollins at the grandest stage of them all.

WWE ran last night’s RAW from the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. The company booked a backstage segment between Rollins and Kevin Owens.

Fans started chanting “Cody” as soon as the camera panned towards Rollins and he spoke about not having a WrestleMania opponent. The crowd thought that Cody would pop up at some point during the show but that didn’t happen. By the way, Rollins is still without an opponent.

AEW star Daniel Garcia reacted to the ‘Cody’ chants. Garcia is one of the many upstarts mentored by Cody during his time in AEW. Garcia wrote LMAOOO on Twitter but deleted it afterwards.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio recently said that Cody will be the one to face Rollins at WrestleMania 38. Meltzer believes WWE won’t announce his return but would continue to drop hints regarding his impending arrival.
