Vince McMahon’s company is on the road to WrestleMania and that can come with a lot of twists and turns. Kevin Owens will have a memorable time in Dallas for Mania, but the company’s plans for him shifted a bit on SmackDown.

WWE had to reportedly change their plans involving Kevin Owens for this week’s episode of SmackDown. According to Fightful, Kevin Owens was listed for an in-ring promo on the run sheet. Instead, we saw a video package. The removed promo was said to be produced by Jason Jordan.

Another significant change was made due to Big E’s injury. Big E was initially scheduled for a post-show dark match with Drew McIntyre and Kofi Kingston vs. Sami Zayn, Happy Corbin, and Madcap Moss. The match was changed to Drew McIntyre vs. Austin Theory.

While Steve Austin and Kevin Owens are set to wrestle at WrestleMania 38, WWE might also have to change Big E’s plans for the big event, given his recent injury. We’re all pulling for Big E and hoping for the best.
