The road to WrestleMania has finally begun. WWE is building this year’s Mania to live up to its “Show of Shows” moniker. The company has already announced couple of matches for the two-night extravaganza.
For the fans, WWE has planned something special: a chance to interview superstars at WrestleMania 38. To this end, the company will be holding a contest on the popular TikTok platform.
Participants will singalong with WWE stars in duet videos and will send their submissions to the company, which will then review them to determine one lucky winner. The victor will interview WWE superstars at WrestleMania 38.
WWE issued statement in regards to the contest on their website. The company said it is looking for a digital correspondent on TikTok ahead of WrestleMania 38. Read the full statement below.
“Have you ever wanted to interview your favorite WWE Superstar at WrestleMania? Now’s your chance! WWE is searching for a digital correspondent on TikTok ahead of the most stupendous two-night WrestleMania in history.
“In the weeks leading up to WrestleMania, WWE will be posting videos featuring Superstars with whom fans can Duet on TikTok, asking them hard-hitting questions. Duet videos with the hashtag #WWEInterviewContest will be reviewed, and the winner will receive a trip to WrestleMania 38, where they will interview Superstars backstage at The Show of Shows.
“The first video, featuring R-Truth, is live now on WWE’s official TikTok channel, which currently has over 15.8 million followers. Follow today and start your Road to WrestleMania!”
WrestleMania 38 takes places April 2 and 3 (Saturday and Sunday) at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. WWE will hold the Hall of Fame ceremony on April 1 (Friday).
