Kenny Omega’s in-ring skills have brought him worldwide fame and acclaim as he is touted as the best bout machine for good reason. His AEW World Title reign had been excellent for many fans as he has competed in several high profile matches. It seems he is always anxious about his career coming to an end.

Kenny Omega made a name for himself with his incredible matches with top pro wrestlers such as Kazuchika Okada and Hiroshi Tanahashi in NJPW. Omega is regarded as one of the all time-greats by many fans and it is not difficult to understand why.

Omega has been absent from AEW television following his match at AEW Full Gear back in November 2021 as he has been taking time to recover from all the injuries Omega had suffered over the years.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Kenny Omega admitted that he is always anxious when it comes to the end of his pro wrestling career.

“I’m always thinking about it, especially now because you see how fragile everything is and how it could end. I don’t necessarily mean from a personal standpoint. I could be injured, and it’s over, or one of the procedures could go wrong.

They have to give me the bad news, ‘you’ll never be the same, and you can’t be the person you want to be in the ring,’ or, we wake up tomorrow, and everything digital has been hacked, and there’s an alien life form, and there is no way for material to get out there. It could happen; who knows. It could all end, go out of our control; sorry guys, AEW isn’t a thing, all wrestling isn’t a thing, what is that I do?”

AEW is also likely planning huge Angle for Kenny Omega once he makes his return to AEW television this year. We will have to wait and see when Omega will come back to the company as fans are eagerly waiting for his return.
