MJF is nothing if not consistent. The AEW star has made himself one of the top heels in Tony Khan’s promotion. Maxwell Jacob Friedman has gone above and beyond to always stay in his heel character.
The rewards have been great. MJF is currently in a hot program with CM Punk. Friedman even owns a controversial victory over the Second City Saint. There are no signs of his momentum stopping.
With interest from WWE and huge reactions wherever he goes, MJF is living the high life. On a recent episode of Dynamite, he celebrated his victory over Punk by making out with a young lady in the ring. Max took the opportunity to once again let everybody know that he’s better than them. A tweet of a still shot of the kiss included a very heelish caption.
“Happy V day for all the nerds out there that cant get any action.”
A lot of nerds will find MJF’s Valentine’s Day greeting offensive. That’s exactly the point. MJF wants fans to be angry at him even on the most romantic day of the year.
As far as AEW is concerned, MJF still has a lot on his plate. The three-time Dynamite Diamond Ring winner still has unfinished business with CM Punk. MJF is gloating for now. Soon things will become very serious for the man who claims to be better than the Best in the World.
