Huge Names Advertised For WWE WrestleMania Backlash

WWE is set to hold their WrestleMania Backlash premium live event on May 8th in Providence, Rhode Island. The venue for the big show will be the Dunkin Donuts Center. The arena recently tweeted presale details along with advertising some huge WWE superstars for the event.

The presale begins on February 16. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on February 18. In a graphic for the event, several major WWE superstars make an appearance.

Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey, Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Sasha Banks, and Charlotte Flair are the featured wrestlers in the graphic. Reigns and Lesnar are slated to main event WrestleMania. Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair are set for the other night’s featured attraction.

This is the first post-WrestleMania event to advertise Lesnar and Rousey. The Backlash theme typically means the storylines will be built around all of the WrestleMania fallout. There should be plenty of that with these superstars booked for the event.

Last year, WrestleMania Backlash took place without fans at the ThunderDome. Fans in Rhode Island will be excited to get to see these huge stars at a major event again. WWE has been pulling out all the stops trying to get more people in seats as the global pandemic continues.

There could be a ton of chaos in the aftermath of WrestleMania 38. Backlash should be a huge show where a ton of scores are settled once and for all. If nothing else, the show will be absolutely star-studded.
