Randy Orton Admits He Might Not Still Be Wrestling If Not For Viral RKO Memes

Randy Orton’s contributions to WWE cannot be understated as he has been one of the mainstays of the company for almost twenty years now. After a very rocky start, Orton went on to solidify himself as one of the greatest Superstars in the company’s history. It seems he has an interesting take on his career as well.

Randy Orton has gained a lot of fanfare thanks to being very laidback when it comes to his character over the past few years. He is also a viral sensation thanks to numerous RKO memes and vines over the years.

While speaking with St. Louis Post Dispatch, Randy Orton talked about the most significant parts of his wrestling career, which includes his Viper nickname and the RKO. Orton admitted he might not still be wrestling if not for the viral RKO memes.

“Over the years, the RKO, the Viper, it just organically happened, I had nothing to do with the RKO memes. It took on a life of its own. Honestly, if it wasn’t for that, I don’t know if I would be sitting here. The fans are just as much a part of the show as the wrestlers.”
