CM Punk made a return to pro wrestling after seven years off. He did not think that return would be possible, but it happened. As of this moment, he is cherishing this time in front of the AEW fans.

Phil Brooks dropped a tweet for fans that expressed his gratitude. He also admitted to relishing in every moment he is in the ring, something he did not think was going to happen.

Everyday I’m in a ring, in front of a live audience, is time I never thought I’d have back. I treat ever second like it’s my last. Not sure how long I have left, but I will leave it all out there. Thanks to everyone who supports.

We’ll have to see what happens next for CM Punk. He has a huge match against MJF slated for AEW Dynamite next week. It is also fitting that they are setting that match in Chicago, because MJF will get nuclear heat.

We will have to see how long CM Punk has left in the ring. Some fans are hoping that a heel turn is possible, but he’s not going to get much heat from fans with a tweet like this.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
