FTR’s Match Was Cut From AEW Dynamite Due To Medical Protocols

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler established themselves as one of the top tag teams in pro wrestling. They already proved their worth in AEW by winning the AEW Tag Team Titles once. The two also don’t care what their critics have to say about their matches.

FTR are true fans of the old school way of professional wrestling and was inspired by various legends, with Bret Hart being their greatest inspiration. CM Punk would certainly approve of this.

FTR was scheduled to square off against  Brock Anderson and Lee Johnson in a tag team match on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. However, the match ended up being nixed for some reason.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the match was nixed due to “medical protocols.” Meltzer was not sure whether it was due to COVID-19 or not but decided that might have been the case.

While the exact medical issue is not known, it was said that both members of FTR are fine. We will have to wait and see when the two will be making their next appearance on AEW television.
