Sheamus Not A Fan Of WWE Revealing Royal Rumble Surprises

Former WWE Champion and United States Champion Sheamus has had a great career in the company, winning multiple championships during his time in the company. He is also not afraid to share his thoughts on WWE’s decisions. It seems he is not a fan of one of WWE’s questionable decisions recently.

It was announced on a previous week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown that the likes of Summer Rae, Mickie James, Lita and others will be making their appearance during the Women’s Royal Rumble match.

Many fans were shocked at WWE’s decision of announcing surprise entrants beforehand. While speaking with GiveMeSport, Sheamus revealed that he is really not a fan of WWE announcing the surprise entrants for the matches in advance.

“I know this year, they’ve announced a lot of contestants for the women’s Royal Rumble. I like the fact that they just show up. I’m not a huge fan of telling people who is going to be in there. I think the men’s one is a bit more secretive. They’ve announced like ten people who are on the active roster. On the women’s side, there are a lot of girls coming back. It shows how much they’ve missed the product and missed being in the ring.”

Summer Rae also recently revealed that her Royal Rumble appearance was supposed to be secret. We will have to wait and see whether WWE will have more surprise entrants in store for the Royal Rumble matches.
