AEW Dragged Over FTR’s Poor Choice Of Opponents

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler established themselves as one of the top tag teams in pro wrestling. They already proved their worth in AEW by winning the AEW Tag Team Titles once. The two also don’t care what their critics have to say about their matches.

FTR are true fans of the old school way of professional wrestling and was inspired by various legends, with Bret Hart being their greatest inspiration. CM Punk would certainly approve of this.

While speaking on his podcast, Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette talked about FTR’s current booking in AEW. They are set to square off against Brock Anderson and Lee Johnson in a tag team match. Cornette dragged AEW for booking FTR against such inexperienced opponents.

“Apparently, FTR gets to appear on television next week. And who are their opponents are? Lee Johnson and Brock Anderson. So now Arn’s out there with Brock, Brock appeared once for a two week deal, set it up, have the match and we would never seen him again. FTR is the best in-ring tag team in the world. Why are they wrestling a talent who has only had three matches and another talent who isn’t out of the prelims?”

Jim Cornette also recently stated that FTR is undermined in AEW. We will have to wait and see whether FTR will get to win the AEW Tag Team Titles again in the future.
