Britt Baker Teases Open Challenge For AEW Women’s Title

Britt Baker’s growth as a pro wrestler has certainly been a significant one, ever since she debuted in AEW back in 2019. Baker’s hard work certainly paid off in a huge way as she has become one of the top stars in the entire company and not just the women’s division. It seems she hinted at her future plans in the company as well.

Baker has been booked as a strong AEW Women’s Champion, ever since she won it from Hikaru Shida back at Double Or Nothing last year. Since then she has competed in numerous feuds.

While speaking on Barstool Rasslin‘, Britt Baker discussed the availably of top tier female talents who are free agents right now. Due to this, she hinted at hosting an open challenge for her title.

“I think an open challenge would be really fun. There are a lot of free-agent women right now that I would love to wrestle and I think an open challenge would be great.”

With the likes of Rok-C and other top female talents being free agents right now, it remains to be seen who will step up to the plate and square off against Britt Baker for her title.
