Leo Sparrow got some major national exposure this week. The independent wrestler can claim a rare achievement. Sparrow appeared on both WWE Raw and AEW Rampage in the same week.

The Son of the Sun was squashed by Omos on Monday Night Raw. Sparrow then appeared on Friday’s Rampage as a part of The Acclaimed’s music video. The song was a diss track on Sting and Darby Allin.

Sparrow trained at Brian Myers’ Create-A-Pro Wrestling. Max Caster, Kris Statlander, MJF, and Bear Bronson are other AEW stars who trained there. The school is known to produce some great talent.

Kelsey Heather performed the feat back in July of 2021. Kelsey appeared in a Raw segment with Bobby Lashley and then wrestled “Legit” Leyla Hirsch on AEW Dark: Elevation. Very few have ever wrestled for AEW and WWE in the same week. Cameron Stewart also competed on AEW Dark and WWE NXT 2.0 on the same night.

Leo Sparrow reveled in the exposure on his Twitter account. Sparrow shared photos from both appearances. It was quite an achievement for any wrestler.

WWE has been known to bring in local talent for squash matches. Rarely does it happen on the same week one of them appears for AEW. It’s an interesting historical curiosity that Leo Sparrow will always be able to bring up during conversations.
