Booker T Believes WWE Opening The Forbidden Door Could Help Them Steal Talent

The concept of the Forbidden Door has been making headlines in the past couple of years, especially with AEW’s previous partnership with Impact Wrestling and NJPW. Since then Impact Wrestling has worked with a variety of companies as well. It seems Booker T has an interesting take on the Forbidden Door.

WWE shocked a lot of fans when they announced that Mickie James would be competing in this year’s women’s Royal Rumble, especially with the fact that they acknowledged her reign as Knockouts Women’s Champion.

WWE is also said to be considering opening the Forbidden Door for the Men’s Royal Rumble match as well. While speaking on his Hall Of Fame podcast, Booker T talked about WWE opening up the Forbidden Door after so long. Booker T stated that believes the company opening the Forbidden Door might help them steal talent as well.

“That’s where I think it might be some kind of controversy, a little bit. As far as, what if these guys come in and really, really do well and want to actually move over to the other side.”

We will have to wait and see whether WWE will end up bringing over talents from other promotions during the Men’s Royal Rumble match or not. It could certainly be the start of something huge.
