Jade Cargill has been booked as an unstoppable force in AEW as she has run roughshod over the women’s division. Her imposing stature and physique have certainly helped her in the company. It seems Jim Cornette is not a fan of Jade Cargill’s in-ring work whatsoever.

Cargill became the first-ever AEW TBS Champion as she defeated fan-favorite Ruby Soho in the finals of the TBS Women’s Eliminator Tournament. Many fans were disappointed at this as they wanted to see Soho become the inaugural champion.

While speaking on the Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette talked about Jade Cargill’s in-ring skills. He criticized Cargill for being an underwhelming performer who needed a needle and compass for her match against Ruby Soho.

“I havewatched a lot of wrestling lately and I started out saying I cannot do this. I just can’t sit through becauseI knew it was gonna be long and it was. And so I put on the fast forward on screen. Fast forward. I stopped in a couple places, Jade Cargill stomps like an ostrich. But they have had good matches with her. 3 minutes, 4 minutes, 5 minutes in and out, something that they could practice and lay out. This was way too long.

Ruby Soho is much better than what it looked here, but the problem was Jade needed a road atlas, a compass, and a GPS. By the end of the match to figure out where she was located at. At one point Ruby climbed the top rope to do something and just looked and got back down because Jade was on the other side of the ring staggering around.”

Jade Cargill was planned to win the TBS Women’s Championship all along as well. We will have to wait and see whether Cargill will improve her in-ring skills or not.
