Jon Moxley is nearing his return from an inpatient alcohol rehab program. Mox has taken the time he needs to care for himself and is just about ready to come back. Moxley is scheduled to wrestle Homicide on January 23rd for GCW at the Hammerstein Ballroom. The former AEW champion is now trending on Twitter after a video emerged of a young Mox in the ring with the late Bob Saget.

Bob Saget was a beloved actor and comedian. Saget tragically passed away yesterday. Bob had a lengthy history of being involved with professional wrestling. Chikara even hired him as their storyline authority figure.

Heel By Nature dug up the vintage footage. The short clip was shared on Twitter. It features Moxley and Saget having an exchange of words inside the ring.

Moxley was very young in the video. Jon’s come a long way since his early days on the independent circuit. Mox enjoyed a hugely successful run in WWE as Dean Ambrose before signing with AEW and becoming their World Champion.

Fans are excited for the return of Jon Moxley. Moments like this forgotten classic with Bob Saget are peppered throughout his career. The juxtaposition of such a beloved, wholesome TV dad and a violent maniac is nothing short of hilarious.
