Gabe Sapolsky has been a heavy hitter in the wrestling business since the 1990’s. Gabe rose from an assistant to Paul Heyman helping to run ECW from a basement to the acclaimed booker at Ring of Honor. Sapolsky ultimately moved on to WWE as a consultant before he was released this week.

The former writer and booker recently fired off several tweets to address rumors about him. It had been a while since Gabe was truly able to speak his mind. Among the topics Sapolsky brought up were rumors of him using a burner account on social media to argue with fans.

“As far as this burner account thing, I worked 24/7 at the top of my industry. To think I’d argue with fans about tribalism crap is idiotic. You are just telling on yourself if you think I waste my time on here with that crap.”

Sapolsky also said that another rumor that’s incorrect is that Triple H killed EVOLVE. Gabe claimed that WWE and The Game saved the company when they bought it out and placed it on the WWE Network. It would’ve been bankrupted in 2016 without the lifeline.

Gabe also fired off at wrestlers who he says were upset with him for not booking him. There was never any ill will towards any wrestler. Sapolsky just wanted to work as hard as he could and show respect in the business.

Gabe Sapolsky went on to discuss why he made some of the decisions he did. That includes going to WWE after years of nearly being broke on the independent circuit. Gabe said he was doing what was best for his family and would never slight a wrestler who did the same.
