WALTER’s Final NXT UK Match Announced

WALTER is associated with the NXT UK brand more than any WWE superstar. The monster held the NXT Championship for over 800 days. Fans will soon have to look elsewhere to get their fix of WALTER.

The event is being billed as WALTER’S Last Stand. Nathan Frazier will be the opponent in the historic bout. It will be his final match after three years as an NXT UK star.

WALTER expressed reservations about moving to the United States in the past. The main sticking point was that he didn’t want to leave European wrestling while he was European champion. WALTER’s recent split from his wife may have made his decision to want to come stateside easier.

American NXT fans have seen plenty of WALTER. The Austrian star has appeared in NXT in the past. It has not been confirmed if that will be his destination.

We do know that the Austrian Anomaly will no longer be wrestling for WWE on the NXT UK brand. WALTER could be headed for the main roster. Any brand in the company would be happy to have the hard-hitting giant.

WALTER has been with WWE since 2019. NXT UK was lucky to get to experience the man in person for as long as they have. The main roster and NXT would both benefit big time from the addition of WALTER. Fans everywhere are hoping that they’ll get a chance to see him very soon.
