Scott Armstrong has been everywhere in the world of professional wrestling. Scott started his career as a journeyman during the territory era of the late 1980’s. The Armstrong wrestling family reached great success in the industry. Two of the Armstrong brothers now find themselves without work.

Road Dogg (Brian Armstrong) was fired from his backstage job at NXT. Scott Armstrong handled much of the officiating for the colorful brand. He was also released from his contract.

Scott spent over fifteen years with WWE. Armstrong’s firing left him with plenty to reflect upon. The former WWE referee is now ready to get back to basics, according to a statement he made on Twitter after being cut.

WWE has been undergoing an extreme reorganization under the leadership of Nick Khan. The company has released countless wrestlers over the last year. Tensions are very high for everybody in Stamford. Scott Armstrong is going to try and keep it simple as he settles into his post-WWE life.
